This policy explains what the Texas Tycoon mobile game ("the app"), published by Strata9 Inc. ("we"), collects and why.

What we collect

• An install ID. The app makes a random ID the first time you open it and stores it on your device. We use it to create your game account. It is not your phone's hardware ID or advertising ID.
• Game data. Your progress and actions in the game, such as leases, wells, in-game currency, achievements, auction bids, daily claims and basic in-game events.
• Technical data. The app version and platform, plus your IP address and device user agent, which our servers record in standard logs.
• Email address (only if you provide it). If gift-card rewards are available and you choose to verify an email, we store it to send your rewards and to prevent duplicate accounts. This feature is not yet available.

We do not collect your name (unless you add it for a gift-card delivery), contacts, photos, precise location, or payment card details. The app currently contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

How we use it

To run the game and save your progress, run live auctions, prevent cheating and fraud, enforce reward limits, fix problems and understand how the game is played.

Who we share it with

• Our hosting provider, which stores data for us.
• When gift-card rewards are enabled: Tremendous (our gift-card provider) receives your email address, and your name if you give it, so it can deliver your card. An email delivery provider sends verification codes for us.
• When rewarded video ads are enabled: Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data under Google's own policies. We will update this policy and the app before that happens.
• When the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users.

We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep account and game data while your account is active. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security. Records of gift-card orders may be kept longer where needed for fraud prevention, accounting or legal reasons. [Legal review: set exact retention periods.]

Your choices and deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your account and game data at any time. See Delete your data. Uninstalling the app removes the install ID from your device but does not delete server data.

Children

Texas Tycoon is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the data.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). No method of storage is completely secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to processing. Email us to use them. [Legal review: state/GDPR-specific disclosures, controller address.]
